Florida Strengthens as the Real Estate Crisis Ends

palm beach county fl.
Foreclosure filings in Palm Beach County continue to fall down 49% from last year at this time, and 9% down from January. One purported reason for this decrease is the enactment of a July 1 law regarding expediting certain foreclosures and specific paperwork that needs to be in place for the foreclosure to take place. Many experts in the field believe that attorneys and professionals in the field are getting used to the new laws and that there it is likely that the number of filings could increase once those involved become more used to the process

However, one fact that cannot be disputed is that home prices have dramatically increased recently in Palm Beach County. Many banks are now able to sell via a short sale as the housing market improves, and prevent foreclosure in many cases.
